HydraFacial VS Glo2Facial

Which Facial Treatment Is Best For You?

Glo2 Facial at Lush Aesthetics

Treating yourself to a facial can be exciting and rewarding. Whether you are looking to address

a certain skin condition or just be pampered, deciding where to start can be overwhelming. The

HydraFacial and Glo2Facial treatments are both great options to start with and may be enough

to achieve glowing skin!

The HydraFacial is a non-invasive three step device that includes cleansing, exfoliation and

infusion of serums. This can be comparable to microdermabrasion in the way they both use a

suction to remove dead skin cells. The difference is HydraFacial uses hydra-dermabrasion

technology that infuses the skin with serums and exfoliates simultaneously. These serums

include glycolic and salicylic acid so you're getting some benefits of a peel without the harsh

peeling. The next step is removing all build up from pores using suction. Be sure to ask your

provider to show you the water after this step to see what all came out of your skin! Your

treatment will end with saturating the skin with antioxidants and moisturizers for the ultimate

glow. HydraFacial can be used on all skin types and is customizable by offering a wide variety of

“boosters” to amplify your results. These can make it easier to target specific skin needs like

acne or anti-aging. If your end goals include better hydration or a deeper exfoliation, the

HydraFacial might be best for you!

The Glo2Facial device is also a non-invasive facial that includes a three step system to cleanse,

exfoliate, infuse + oxygenate. This technology creates CO2 bubbles on the skin’s surface to

cleanse and exfoliate while activating what is known as the ‘Bohr Effect’. This is a natural

process that occurs in the body and causes the skin’s internal oxygen levels to rise. This deep

exfoliation and oxygenation leaves the skin with a refreshed youthful look! The second step is

infusing the skin with a specialty serum chosen specifically for your skin’s needs. This is pushed

deep into the skin using an Ultrasound wand for ultimate absorption. The last step is a gentle

massaging hand piece that improves blood flow, redness and drains the skin of fluid build up.

Just like HydraFacial this treatment is for all skin types and is very customizable with six

different facials to choose from. This includes ‘Detox’ for environmental exposure, ‘Illuminate’ for

brightening, ‘Hydrate’ for dehydrated skin, ‘Balance’ for acneic skin, ‘Revive’ for skin

rejuvenation and ‘Glam’ for aging skin. If your end goals include improving circulation or

collagen production, the Glo2Facial might be best for you!

Both treatments are similar in certain aspects but work differently in providing results. Achieving

glowing skin can be met with either of these facials but depending on what your skin goals are

will determine which one is best for you. Here at Lush Aesthetics we offer a variety of facial

procedures including the Glo2Facial! We believe this facial suits us best by being able to target

and correct a wider range of skin conditions. We hope to see you in our chair soon to help start

your skin journey!
